I do not have the roll for 6max 1-2 yet...

I still have too big of BR swings...A few bad sessions would make me nervous...I learned my lesson last time when I went broke at 2-4

Cheers...

sorry for the hijack, but BW, just message me on one of the tables and we will find one lower--if you still want to play. Or AIM me

not only do i post the blind when i sit down, i almost always raise when the action comes to me.
if you get great cards first hand, no one will believe it until they see it, and if you suck out with a poor starting hand people will think you're a loose fish.

the only time i dont post is when the BB will be on me within 2 or 3 hands. there is no way i'm not posting from the CO or middle position though.. i'm not patient enough and hands are more playable there

the only time i fold a posted blind is if the action has been raised and re-raised before me, then i just play as if i'm in the BB and fold terribly low off suit cards or stuff like Q2 off.

also, if there are like 4 or 5 limpers in front of me and i have something like mid suited connectors, i might just play it out, but usually i'm making it one more to go even here ... starting a session out by getting in good on a big pot is great for your table image.

At a table on 9+ active players, I prefer to post from the cutoff.

Whilst it works out mathematically even 1½ bets to play 9 hands vs 1 bet to play 6 hands.

However, at tables without a lot preflop action, you get to see 1 free flop in both cases (across 6 or 9 hands). However when paying the SB, either you waste the ½bet or you pay an additional ½bet to see the flop. So therefore you are either paying 2 bets for 9 hands (with 2 free flops) or 1½ bets for 9 hands (with 1 free flop). Mathematically I believe you are better off with the out of position post at the cutoff.

There is also the positional advantage for your free flop also.

And even if the table idoes have a lot of preflop action, I rather a forced bet in late position than early.
