| I am aware like most everyone who plays online poker that there are now kids who are getting involved in the game. For those ones who do venture in to the real money games and win, is there any way of them actually getting caught? It doesnt bother me that kids are now playing online as long as they stay in the play money games |

ABSOLUTELY !!!
The online card rooms can hold up on releasing the withdrawals from winnings while they wait for all kinds of verification to insure they are not kids.
Prolly not what you wanted to hear tho. It affects the non kids as well. |

| Kids will use their parents accounts. Sum parents will even do this willingly. Neway u shouldn't have a problem as im sure you believe you are a better player than them. |

| One of my best friends is paying for his first two years of college from poker winnings from an account his dad set up for him to play on. He played with his own money and won - nothing wrong with that (he gave his dad the cash that he deposited for him). |

When I was in high school I went to parties where the parents allowed the kids there to drink beer etc, heck the parents bought the keg and cases of beer for the party.
My point being is it's these same parents (same kind of parents) who open up real money accounts for their kids to play on-line poker. In fact 60 minutes had a segment showing parents who host poker parties for their kids. These kids were only 10-14 years old!!!
In closing, I believe America is going to have a HUGE cross segment of problem gamblers. Gambling, the newest drug craze of kids. OR, look at it this way, some parents push their kids to breaking trying to have them become a pro athelete in order to make millions. Well screw sports lets have them become a millionaire playing poker. |

i have been playing poker since i was 16 (started out playing limit), and all i ever did was play in live games... i was very successful in them, so i started playing on this site when i was a few days from turning 20, and i really never had no problem withdrawing/cashing out...
for those who think every "kid" under 21 shouldn't be playing for real money (live games or online), get over it... "kids" need money too, and i needed the money to help out my mother since there was no way she could afford to pay for my college classes on her own... and since i found something very profitable, i went ahead and continued to do it despite the risk of getting caught... |

| Hah - even that's only so big an issue - after all, most sites allow you to play when you're 18, not 21. |

| jaconda, doesnt this site ask you if you're 21 when you sign up? i know party poker's age limit is 18, but i'm pretty sure you should be 21 if you want to play on this site |

| This site, yes, you have to be 21 in order to play. However, sites such as poker stars and party poker, as well as many others, only require you to be 18. |
