Last night I was playing in a live tournament and got heads up with a guy that had about a 4 to 1 chip advantage over me. This individual was VERY loose, as most of his chips came from calling two all ins with a 10 7 offsuit and spiking two 7's on the flop, cracking KK and AK.

I began carving him up pretty handly and pulled about even when my AQs held up against his AJo. Then all of a sudden this guy went totally kamkazi on me and was going all in every hand. Of course this caused me to tighten up and allow him to pull back into the lead.

Finally I get A 10o and call his allin bet preflop. He turns over 7h 2d. Flop A 10 7. Turn 4. River 7. I thought I was going to throw up, and it was VERY difficult to shake the his hand to be a good sport...

I'm posting simply to get it off my chest... And after reading all these post about how online poker was rigged and how EVERYONE wins in a live game, imagine my suprise when this happened Rolling Eyes

why does everything have to be in absolutes...either yes or no....not everyone is saying that online poker is definitely rigged, just saying that the possibility is out there. You can't take one hand in a live tourney and use it against someone like KYThrill who has been researching this over months and years, he could be full of sh*t but from reading his postings he makes some good points (I would be interested to see some actual results from his research). There is a possibility that to increase entertainment value and make the games go by more quickly they could tweak the odds just a little..again not saying this is a fact just that it is possible. This is something that is very complicated to prove since it would take a huge amount of research to prove that it is a fact....nearly impossible.

Did I say that online poker is definitely not rigged? I think you read a little too much into the post. Bad beats happen online as well as live is pretty much all I was shooting at, and that bad players can beat good players in any given session...

I was also just sharing my bad beat that kept me from 1st place money, as this is the BAD BEAT forum... Shocked

I like your effort to be humerous but you missed the point. I didn't comment on your bad beat, I commented on your last paragraph which I quoted above. How could EVERYONE win in a live game??? How does that make sense?? Can you please find the posting where anyone claimed that everyone wins in a live game cus that is impossible, hose head. 8)

Well, obviously I'll need to hold your hand and walk you through this step by step, because if you read any post about how online poker is rigged, etc. the poster usually starts out about how they are a winning player in a live game. My comment was not intended to be taken to such a literal extreme and for those with 1/2 a brain stem and a sense of humor I'm certain it was not...

And, by the way, it's spelled humorous Smile

More people read the forum than post in it, genius. But that's a complicated concept for you, so we'll let it slide.

I'm in total agreement with this. And if you read my post talking about the potential of making hundreds of millions (PartyPoker 2.5 billion hands delt and increased rakes from multiple good hands for just 25% of those delt hands equals additional profit of $375 MILLION DOLLARS)
Thats more money then any of us can imagine making it seem that much more possible that IT COULD BE HAPPENING.
