I had a rough Saturday and Sunday...I sometimes have to trying to remember why I like limit poker...1 winning session of 6BB all weekend...

-6.45 BB/100 over 2400 hands playing a mix of .50/1 and 1/2...

Thanks for UB's bonus money...It lessened the pain by about 35 bucks, but I was still down $120 bucks over the weekend...

Frustrating...

I just might stick putting together puzzles on the weekends...and leave all the fish at the tables to the rest of you guys...

UB offers the toughest 6max tables for SSHE and micro, sorry to hear of the downswing and I've seen my share of the roller coaster too. You may be slumping and sometimes it seems the storm just grows worse even if you know you are a better player than most of those that you are facing.
This brings me to my theory that sometimes extreme results get you out of the right sort of mood to be playing. You may be the best 6max player for your limit, but if your head isn't right (sometimes this simply means your confidence) then it is extremely difficult to pull off any win.
So, my advice if you want it, is to do whatever it is to forget about poker for a while and enjoy some visceral moments of real life--poker will always be here to come back and attack it. Good luck bigwheell Smile

omg, i'm glad you are OK. That sounds like a real bad beat and i'd prefer bigwheell's losses to your experience, ugh gave me the shivers

Well my sample size is only 800 hands, but for the first 300 I was -10BB/100, then my luck changed and I managed to play at +8BB/100 for the next 500 hands and I'm almost level! I guess thats a good definition of variance

I'm not too worried about the bad spell as I was pretty card dead, only seeing 18% of flops and winning 34% showdowns Sad

But I admit, my weekend sounds better than dmoore's.
