I am by no means claiming to be a pro and you may take the advice any way you wish, but if your new, maybe this will help.
- Check your opponents usernames, do they contain profanitys or other *choice* words. If your playing against someone with PIMP or GANGSTA in their nickname, chances are - they're a big fish.
- Check the chat box. Is anyone using profanitys or childish insults? If so, you have someone who is easy to tilt. Pros generally conduct themselves in a non-offensive manner.
- Will your opponent raise all-in on a small pot with mediocore cards on deck? Most players would refrain from risking all their chips on a bluff that only required a small raise to steal. Chances are this fish has hit pay dirt.
- Does your opponent complain about bad luck and not getting any *good* cards? Chances are *luck* isn't the only reason why they lose often.
- A player who changes the emotions of their avatar often can be related to a real life player who stacks their chips with all the white stripes matching. These players just aren't focusing on the game in front of them.
Well, thats it for now. Anyone with anymore fish tells can reply or post their own topic on it. Thanks for reading, and keep trying for that elusive Royal Flush! |
