well I have been playing the free games on Fulltilt for 2 days now and have just started learning Razz. I am looking for all advise on what the best ways to play Razz. I have got a real good grasp for the basics won first in 2 sit and goes. placed 64th in a freeroll and am loving the game.
I would by no means classify myself as an agressive player. more consrvitave and like to wait on my hands. So far I am having a blast playing razz I use to play holdem all the time but got bored with the same old game after years of playing it. Razz is a nice change of pace I accually like it better then five card draw lowball. However I really want to learn and master the game before I lay my Real Money on the Line.
I have allready read the rules of the game and I found lesson #3 very informative does anyone else have any helpfull tips and does anyone know if there are other lessons on this game. Pro Tips, or other usefull information.
The other thing that has me kinda dissapointed is the lack of razz freeRoles I mean one for 30 holdem's comeon give us players who like other games more options. I also think they need more chip buy-in sit and goes. The Tourney options for razz are so limited at this point in time I wish they would open up more tourneys for us
Thanks for any input you have

Welcome to the forum casper.
-Phil Hellmuth's book, Play Poker Like the Pros has a good little razz section.
- poker1.com has some razz odds. They're free, and will give you an edge over other players. Almost nobody knows razz odds. You can also play with FTP's odds calculator to get a feel for what beats what, and what draws are worth chasing.

| You might want to check out Poker News ( www.pokernews.com ). They had a couple of articles in the last month or so on Razz strategy. You should be able to access these in the archives. |
