Player 1 has A2478
Player 2 has 25678
They are both average hands, but player 1 wins.
It's the 5 lowest cards.

player 1 wins with A2478 low
player 2 loses with 25678 low
damn you BNS you beat me to it.
since you ask i assume you dont know much about razz. its the 5 lowest cards and straights and flushes do not count for or against you. A2345 is the best razz hand you can have.

| not at all fisher. its the 5 lowest the rest dont matter. if you hold A232344 you would have a pair of 2's low. because your 5 lowest include a pair. |

if I have for instance A,A,2,5,8,9,K
then my razz hand is: AA258? |

| And it works from top to bottom in determining which hand is better. For instance, if you have 34568, and I have A2378, you win, because we both have an 8 low, but you have an 8-6 while I have an 8-7. |

i posted one above fisher but here it is A234234 that results in a pair of 2's low. the cards you would use are A234 and another 2 since its the lowest card remaining.
BTW this is the most frustrating thing in all of poker IMO. it will make you want to kill the next person who says hey hows it going.

| And general rules for what to play, as far as I know, are 3 to a solid 8 (meaning not 6 7 8) or better. |
