anyone else having a problem adjusting 2 the new "players" on the site. im finding it difficult with the amount o complete clowns that seem 2 populate the tables at the 5/10 sit n go`s and the .25/.50 and .50/1 cash games i normally play.

There must b so many people out there with 2 much money!!!

I maybe new to FT, but I have to say, I've been so pleased with the quality of people I've been playing with at the SnGs (heads-up), etc.. So much better than what I was accustom to at HWP.

I am liking it here very much. I thought it was going to take a lot of "getting use to" but it's been great so far.

I definitely like the FT players! Cheers, Grace

Well, if that is what's happening, then I say "KEEP 'EM COMING!"

At least people have not been as rude as I've experienced, i.e., calling me a variety of names when I take them out. Maybe it's just because some boyz don't like losing to a woman. Wink

You are not the only one noticing this. Once the average users got above 18K or so, it started to drop off. Many Party refugees. This can be a good and bad thing. The bad is the variance is higher, but the good is if you can adapt, there's much more deadmoney to claim.

As any site grows you will see more easy competition. You can complain, or you can figure out how to take their money. I sure as heck don't know how to beat them, but I'm trying to figure it out.

Dead money is good, long live the donk.

Time to adjust, variance is a lot higher but in the long run... 8)

Do some searching around the forum. There have been threads in the past where we talked about some common newbie mistakes and tells. Sorry, I forget the names of the threads. But try searching for the words 'fish', 'fishcakes', 'newbies', etc...

actually in the 10 and 20 dollar SNGs the level of play seems higher both at FT and Stars (to my chagrin) over the last month. I wonder whether better players migrated disproportionately?
