Last night the poker gods were watching over me. I nearly had a terrable bad beat until the river. Playing 0.5/1 NL
A very VERY loose and terrible player to my right (had $60) raised to 8 pre-flop. I had pocket Kings so I went all in with the $40 I had and he immedietly called as i thought he would.
He turned over a 7 2 offsuit.
The flop nearly made me fall off of my chair 7 7 2.
As i was about to hit the re load button, the turn came a KING restoring my faith in the poker gods.
I know that this is anything but a bad beat, but it might remind some of you that these ppl normally lose. |

Did you tell him that he's not really bluffing all in with 72(os) if he's CALLING? |

Who said he was bluffing anyways? There are these threads were people openly claim that 7,2 is their fave hand. Ain't that cool?
Problem with those people, well, nevermind, not even a problem, is that their fave hand, is normally good enough for them to call all ins preflop with it, which i think is pretty dumb unless your fave hand is AA or KK. People who just love 10, 8 or something, feel compelled to make all in bets with that hand, just because its their fave crackin hand. I love how they misplay their fave hand, like it's really aces or something.
Im sure you agree. |
