That is steep. Knish only wanted half.

That's not called staking je83, that's called loan-sharking.

I just want to point out for people who want to take you up on your offer: heed his words and keep requests limited to this thread. Begging is not allowed on the forum. If he declines you or blacklists you for failure to live up to his terms, which is his right, don't ask again in this thread or elsewhere. I have no authority to enforce the rules, I'm simply pointing them out for everybody's benefit.

PS je83 can offer whatever terms he wants guys -- it's his offer. Nobody has to accept it. I think it's cool that he's offering and I imagine there will be some people who will take him up on the offer. I imagine the terms are steeper because he expects not to get paid back by some people.

Staking means that you take the risk of losing money on yourself in return for a cut of the profits if your player wins money.

yeah you'd basically have to win four 9 person SNG's in a row to make any appreciable profit, and even then you're still only getting $8.
obviously you can have whatever terms you want when you're giving away money for free, but i'm just saying it does seem a little steep.

No prozac but since I recovered from that bad streak I've been feeling a bit more zen if you will. I don't feel the need to argue with anybody right now. Even if his terms are silly, they're his terms. Absolutely nobody has to take him up on them.

Ok it seems apparent he is just trying to stop people from begging, now that he has posted this he can reffer beggars to this post - it will probably shut most of them up. Mission accomplished.

No, it's a scam.

He "stakes" 2 people a week for 10 each = 20
They pay back 40

So next week, he stakes 2 more for 20
They pay back 40

At the end of a month he makes about 100 for doing nothing. This is not staking. This is a loan, it's usury and it's illegal.

Staking is paying a person's entry (or part thereof) into a tournament and receiving 50% of the profits if that player cashes, but getting nothing if the player fails to cash.

So a person would receive $5 and have to pay back $10?...So if a person failed to cash for $10 or more they would still have to find a way to pay back the $10
