I recently deposited $200 and am interested in playing mostly Limit
Holdem cash games with a few SNGs mixed in. I used to play 1/2, but
don't think my current bankroll is large enough for that. What are the
proper limits for me in both the SNGs and ring games? |

| i believe never risking more then 5% of your bankroll at a time is the standard suggestion around here. |

| Seeing as how I personally hate the .05/.1 rings on account of the 10% rake, I'd suggest 5.5 sngs, or buying in at the .1/.25 games for $10 or $15 |

| Well, with a roll like that I think your best bet is to play the .25/.5 9max games. 400 big bets is a little too little to handle the variance of 6max in my opinion, at least when you can't move down after a losing streak. When it comes to SnG's I agree with Ninjah about the $5.5 games. By the way Ninjah, he's playing limit so there are no .05/.1 or .1/.25 games. |

Thanks for replying so quickly , Riddim's suggestions are pretty much
what I had in mind. But the more opinions I get the better. |

| I'd start at 1-2 myself if your playing limit poker. You don't really have to risk a large amount of your bankroll at any given time. This is going against the standard 5% but only because its limit poker! If playing nl I would never recommend that. But if you do lose some of it go to the sngs or drop a limit. |
