It's also chumming the waters... if they didn't get paid off occasionally for being stupid, they wouldn't hang around. Hitting the feeder bar has to pay off occasionally.

It's not actually as bad as it looks... 6 outter (A makes him), so bad, but not *that* bad. I mean really, this forum would have a million threads if everyone posted their 6 or 4 outters against low level idiots (or even mid and high level idiots with way too much money). We all have them all the time, so I really don't see the deal here. Yeah, it sucks, but if this is what constitutes a bad beat worthy of posting, you probably should play some more poker. You'll start taking wicked insane runner-runners and one and two outters and before you know it, you'll be thinking "six outter... well, he was 12% to win... that's not such a bad beat."

No, his preflop raise was proper. Facing a limper, he made a pot bet. Textbook, to be sure, but certainly proper.

No. The other guy didn't make a pre-flop raise, the OP did. The other guy called a preflop, pot sized raise with A3.

And, a 6 outer is a bad beat. Having your money in when you are a 7 to 1 leader and losing is a bad beat. Period. Post worthy is a matter of opinion, but the OP was right, it's mildly annoying.

If a 6 outer is a bad beat, than AK beating a lower pocket pair is a bad beat. Although, not teh same after the flop. Not that horrible, though...

Granted...but we were speaking in context of post-flop, or even, really, after the turn. But, if you are only beaten by 6 cards after the flop, you're in very good position, and a beat is still a bad beat. by zuchov's logic, we should only be talking about one outers beating us, because they occur the least often, and given how many hands we all see, we'll even see those fairly frequently as a group.

I lost with AA to KK twice in one night, and had my KK all in crash into an AA that it DIDN'T beat on the same night. That was one crappy night, but none of those are that bad, right?

More play money/$5 SNG bad beats? Come on.

New rule - your bad beats must be for more than the cost of dinner at McDonalds for anyone to give a ****.

Just because it's not as high as your bank roll doesnt mean its not important to others.

This comment has already been made, and Zuchov accepted that his comment was incorrect at best.
