Just a comment.......
I can post these in the Ring game section, but the reason I post them here is that I do not want to get 20 opinions about how to play the hand from NL players that haven't Played much limit before...
I have notes on this guy and I did what I did for a reason...I completly missed his hand on this one though...
Made me look like an idiot at showdown, it probably will not be the last time... 8)

He has a history of pushing with weak aces. That is why I pushed the way I did. I had been showing down big hands and that is part of the reason I bet all the way to the river. There can be arguments made that I should have check called the river, but in the heat of battle, I thought I was ahead.

| I see no problem with the way you played it, as long as the third player is in who looked like a calling station I believe you should play it aggressively until you are convinced that one of them has a monster that you have no equity against, then shut down as soon as you get one to fold and then bet on improvement which is exactly what you did. Just a cold deck situation here as the button could have raised with a wide spectrum of hands most of which you have dominated according to your read. NH |
