been playing the last few days and its running over 80% for flush draws to fill, seem to remember that 34% was the "norm". I could see over a hour, or a day but days in a row?

If you are a super-natural being, and the only way you can die is to be struck by lightenning twice in a 30 minute time period, you will... eventually... die. Such is poker.

A few days is nothing. Get the HH's and the HH's of everyone else who plays here over the course of infinity, and I promise you, it will all work out.

Let's petition the powers that be to switch straights and flushes in the hand ranking. That's the only flaw I see in poker. It's a great game, because all the rules are simple, and make sense. Except this one. 9 outs for a flush draw, and 4 or 8 outs for a straight draw.

That's the craziest thing I ever heard in my life... 20 cards in the deck can be used to make a straight... Only 13 to make a flush.

Ohh, okay, I was wondering why someone would complain about that.

I guess that's why flushes are ranked higher than straights.

Never thought about it that way. I was only considering outs once you're on the draw.

Yeah, like everyone else said. You have to think about the odds to get a straight draw vs. a flush draw.

Darn, someone beat me too it.

If you have two suited cards there are 12 other cards, two of which have to hit to get you a flush draw.

If you have, for example, JT then a QK or Q9 or 89 (16 cards) gives you an OESD.
