LOL. Do you ever have those players who, after you leave 1 table for whatever reason, and move to another, will follow you there?

I think its hilarious sometimes. Like for the past 3 days, a guy by the name of MyNameIsNobody finds me when he gets online and plays with me all night long regardless of how many times I move tables. This might imply that he wins chips against me or so you would think. O' Contrar. He loses handfuls of chips to me at each sitting. I think he follows me in hopes that he can win some of them back but after so much money lost you would think he would learn. Its still funny though. He never talks to me or anything. Im banned from chat so I cant start up a conversation with him. If I could I would ask him what/how he is doing. Maybe he didnt like something I said on the forum that makes him target me. Or maybe he likes me and wants my company. But thats it, he follows me around all night, not because of some kind of friendship we have through communication, but I guess so he can give me all his money. If you read this pal (mynameisnobody) why dontcha reply with why youre doing this. It doesnt bother me Im just curious.

I also get people who - when Im playing good against them at a table, and the guy to the left of me leaves - will immediately stand up and switch seats to be in better position against me. This actually pisses me off.
I had a guy do that to me the other night. He was sitting in as good of position to me as I was to him, right across the table. I had robbed alot of chips off him. I put out the guy (some dumb bluffer) to the left of me and as soon as he leaves this guy jumps up quick as lightning and switches seats. I guess its not illegal, obviously; its just gay thats all and when I spot it I usually leave the table. I could just as easily gotten up and moved into the jackass' old seat, taking away this position advantage. But I got online that night to play poker and not musical chairs.

I have only followed someone a couple of times. This was because they had challenged me to headsup. One other time I had a guy so onTilt that I wanted to follow him and see if he lost much more. I didnt even play at the next table, I just wanted to watch. I had never seen someone give so much money away on Tilt before. This guy must have totally lost his mind. He might as well have pulled money out of his wallet and lit it on fire. That would have settled him down alot quicker...

peace niggas

Some people feel they need to win back chips back against the people who took them.

I guess it's a macho thing.

Is it in an MTT? Is it possible at all? I thought it is (the table breakups / joins) are system driven?

Am I missing something here?

Its kind of a funny story. I was late for a tournament at a poolhall semi-near my house 2 weeks ago and therefore had to play pool instead. This guy I kind of know was playing with another guy and they had a huge pot growing. On the river my friend raised a huge amount of chips into this guy. The guy started to kind of whine and moan and was talking aloud about bluffs and sh.it like that. My friend sat there and looked him in the eyes. The guy folded, and then did something I had never seen somebody do before. He got up with all kinds of spectators watching him and flipped up my friends cards that were sitting on the table about to get picked up by the dealer. He saw that my friend was bluffing. What happened next was not a bluff lol. My buddy hit this kid under the jaw as he lept from his chair. The guy was prolly 240 pounds. My friend knocked him on the ground and hit him about twice more. The table got knocked almost over and chips went rolling around. Spectators prevented the chips from mixing and the table from completely falling sideways. Surprising the tournament did not end and neither player was penalized although they were both warned (1 for cheating, 1 for fighting). The player who cheated quit anyways right then. He was shortstacked anyhow but there was about 800$ at stake and just 4 people left. I figured he would have kept going. My friend actually won the damn thing, but he was the overwhelming chip leader even before this little escapade. I gotta say that it was **** hilarious. I would have done the same thing Im sure.

I have the opposite problem, when I hop onto tables players scatter. Sometimes I can't get a regular game going because groups of players will quit off before I post a blind. I think I've had one player chase me in the last year and I was glad for the action. I've been able to change my handle quite a few times and play on diff sites and the first week each name change or site change is usually blissful continuity of games--then it always seems to start, I jump on to a 6max table, and two jump off. Some players simply will quit off the site, others are just coincidentally quitting but it happens more often than not. This is a real pain in the you know what if you have gametime.

I like the macho thing, ill tell you of a stalker.

I was at the nearby casino (mt. pleasant, MI) and took one guy for about $120 play 3-6 limit holdem. About 4 hands after i finally got the last of him, and he rebought for $100, they open a Omaha table (only on weekends there) so i move to that. He says "where you goin" I dont answer him and he ends up following me there. Well he had no idea how to play Omaha, and kept trying to use 3 or 4 cards out of his hand. Funny stuff actually, anywho, about an hour into that my friend is way up at the 1-2 No limit holdem. So i decide to join him, and the dude follows me there. He lost over $500 between those 3 tables just trying to win back the first $120 i got off him earlier that night.

Talk about vendetta.

I'll be honest, there are some names I will search out before deciding what tables to play. Usually it's because they tend to make some horriffic donk play that I know they will make again, and I'm hoping this time they don't hit their two outer.

Shortly after I started playing on the .net site a guy sat down at a $5/10 NL table with something like $400k in chips. I asked him why he sat with that much money? He asked me why? I told him I just wondered why someone would sit at this limit a table with that much in chips. I didn't tell him that I thought maybe he was trying to intimadate or impress the table. I went on to explain that I had more than that in chips but, never saw anyone else bring such a huge amount to a table of this limit so, I never brought my entire bankroll. Well that started him. He wanted me to prove that I had more in chips. I meant no harm, telling him so, and he can bring any amount he wanted to any table. I should've kept my mouth shut to begin with but, he persisted and I had to bring my play bankroll to the table to prove to him. Well, for a while there, it seemed like everytime I sat at a table, he'd show up gunning for me. After opening an account and playing on the .com site I didn't see him anymore for about 3 months. Then one day, there he is in the chat box asking me if I remember him while I'm playing at a table. Kind of freaky. I must of made him pretty mad for him to still want to hunt me down after so many months. He said he was going to or, did just open a cash account and he'd be around. I haven't seen him since then. It just goes to show I should've kept my mouth shut and, it really doesn't matter who's is bigger.........lol. If I end up dead under suspsious circumstances please forward this to the authories. Just kidding. At least I hope I am.......... Very Happy
