You know, these big tournies are great. They are great to watch, and they are great to participate in(or at least attempt to win satellites to participate), and they are great for drawing more players to the site. Personally, my roll does not allow direct buyin, but there are so many great satellites to play. However, myself, as well as many others probably will agree that the starting time needs to be changed. For those of us on the east coast, the 250K tournament isn't ending until 1AM in the morning or even later sometimes. And the 500K isn't ending until after 2AM because of the longer levels. It is just not feasible for eastern players to participate, and then have to get up at 6AM the next morning for work.
I think more eastern players would participate in satellites and the tournaments themselves if the starting time was pushed back 2 hours. Instead of an 18:00 start time, how about a 16:00 start time? This would allow for the tournament to end sooner at a more respectable time. I realize this change effects everyone, but on the west coast starting at 1PM instead of 3PM shouldn't matter too much.

I would also like to add that as the site continues to grow, more and more players are going to participate, thus having the ending times later and later as time goes on.

if your still in a 12:00 and even 1 or 2:00 I don't think your gonna miss not getting up for work the next day. Matter of fact I think your wife would probablly tell you to take the day off (and take her shopping of coarse) Razz

Last nights tourny had over 1700 and ended just after 01:30. They are just going to get later and later...........

Octobers 500K lasted past 02:30, and thats going to get later and later as well.

Eventually something has to give.
