Anyone tried PKR.com?
Is it safe/reliable etc? I've only played a couple of freerolls there, and it seems kinda like the new party-poker. Just wanted to know if anyone else plays there. |

I was 1 of the first to join when they were in beta---Played some play money games but as soon as they started real money games they threw me out since I'm from the States.
P.S. I love thier software, it's amazing. |

| Yeah, you won't be able to play for money there, fire... They don't like Americans. |

| Well I'm a UK citizen, I only live in the US for a couple of months a year. The software looks kinda cool though and the players seem bad, so I thought I'd ask around before I put any money in. |

Ah... Well then go for it.
I tried it a while ago, and it was interesting... But felt too much like a video game to me and not serious (you know, not nearly as serious as playing with a frog and a gnome...). |

Well i play it for the freerolls, which are VERY easy to cash in as long as you get past the part where 200 people go out in 10 seconds. |

Bodog doesn't allow Canadians, but I was able to thwort their "No Canadians" policy by simply saying that I was from Dallas when I first sighed up. Pffft! Just find a phony Canadian address and maybe you can try the same thing with PKR. Once you depsoit money into a third party site like ePassporte ot Click2Pay PKR has no way of knowing where you're really from.
And yes, they're secure. I made 2 withdrawals while at PKR. Both successful, and quick. |

PKR.com has no software for Mac's ... so they suck!
As for Bodog not allowing Canadians - that seems awfully hypocritical, as the founder/owner Calvin Ayre is from North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada. (His parents own a farm there).

i played freerolls and play money on that site a few months back when they were in beta testing, and really liked it. couldnt wait for them to open up the real money tables. then they banned americans, so i just uninstalled em from my computer.
just a hint for running it. since it does have a lot of animation, it might run slow on the full spec version of the software, so try using the min spec icon when running the site if it runs slow. |

i played a few hands. I like the site so far. Your right their is a lot of animation but that is pretty cool. I like the fact you make your player. |

There's a good little option that lets you turn off the animations for all players, except the player currently acting. Takes a way a lot of the spontaneous laughing and annoying chips tricks. |
