In a statement released today, NETELLER said it will honor transactions until the Department of the Treasury figures out how to enforce the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement (UIGE) Act. It has until July 10, 2007, to figure out how it will work with banks to stop transactions from financial institutions that work with Americans from transferring money to gambling sites.
That means that we're fine to use Neteller until July. |

| It does sound like you can no longer fund your FTP account with neteller, I guess I won't be transferring my BR here after all. So sad that the land of the free has turned anti-choice. The people behind this think they are in control and are addicted to power, it is up to us to show them that their control is an illusion and they can never take away our ability to choose for ourselves. |

The problem is that they are ELECTED OFFICIALS and they have the power because we gave them the power. I wouldn't want it any other way, but the only way to solve it is to vote and make your voice heard. But don't go blaming them for all the power they have because WE gave them the power. And it is no illusion, they do have the power, but we have the power over them. Simple, don't vote for them. |

| While I"m thinking of it.... How feasable is it to open a foreign bank account and fund it from there? How aboot (pun intended) if I shoot over the border to Canada? Can I open a Canadian bank account while living in the US? |

I've just spent the last hour looking into that and all the Canadian banks I found require that you are a Canadian citizen. Not cool, eh. |

Well, I have a freiend that is will to split the $10,000 Balance required for an offshore account.
If people (ones that I have played with at least) need assistance they can contact me if necessary to get withdrawls or deposits in I can give them more info.
We aren't interested in playing bank or processor but if it all works out.. no reason to not help a few friends.
Just researching it now, so if it comes to extremes... we will commit.

| It is my understanding that because of strong lobbying by banks, they will not be required to monitor paper check traffic to and from gambling sites. If true, this will provide an avenue (albeit inconvenient) to continue funding our accounts. |
