I love visitng your country. Too soppy fpr some maybe but thats the
truth. It is your government that I have the problem with. But hey its not like I stand alone in that regard. Contagious frenzy. Thats for Jobe.

LOL!

Hey, to be honest with you, I have a lot of respect for people that understand how people are socially conditioned into thinking certain ways, and will actually filter what people say through that understanding. I've had my share of "damn you forum groupies" posts too. I guess my post count is getting up there, but I'm really not "part of the group", at least not in that negative way you were accusing me of. I've come to respect, or at least tolerate, most of the people in that group, though. It's not so bad.

You're just better off not introducing yourself to the forum in a way that we've all been conditioned to pigeonhole into the mental Recycle Bin.

Just an opinion...but it is my opinion that if the Titanic were boarding, I would want the full tilt team to be on my deck for sure. The reason I say this is that, while the rest paniced and ran, full tilt is holding steady.
How will it all turn out? I have no clue, but team full tilt are some of the most amazing minds ever to play poker, and pressure is part of their profession. They have acted with integrity in the past, and have issued their intention, and we all know only time will tell. However starting allegations or gossip without any actual facts to back up the original topic statement is simply without merit or class.

Hey, first post ever, so I'll probably get reamed for this but...

There is some credibility to what gus said about poker site's boards and executives being targeted. One of Pokerroom's executives was arrested quite recently and some online gambling rings (888 I believe?) are refusing to let staff members travel to America after several were detained recently by customs in New York for their affilliation with online gambling providers (New York refused to prosecute, they were released) and a board member was arrested and charged in Texas. I don't have time to link all of this information, but it's out there with a few quick searches. The bill as it was passed makes it easier for the gov. to go after poker site owners via a clarification of the Wire Act of the 1960's. Whether or not it is enforceable will be decided in court, I assume.

As for Full Tilt closing, these guys seem to be committed to holding on as long as possible and I'm sure we'll have plenty of notice if they are forced to shut the doors. What would it say for poker if a site endorsed by all of these pro's who love the game scammed us? I'm more worried about Netteller closing off access myself.

Okay, let the reaming begin... throw me into the ring of dancing monkeys and let me be clubbed.
