Well, it's starting. I know I'm being Mr. Doom and Gloom, but I loved that site. I made money and really dug the one table sit n goes. Full tilt is a good site but I keep getting signed off in the middle of a big pot (disconnect protection would be nice). I'm not sure what's up with that. I played my last tourney (had to use up my last pp points) tonight at Party Poker and I didn't get disconnected once, at full tilt I get disconnected atleast every half hour.

One thing I do like is watching the pros play High Stakes on this site....unbeleivable. Well, this is my new home but we need more fish in the pond... it's full of sharks rite now.

I was a Pokerroom player and have come to FTP and have never been disconnected. At PR it was happening all the time. I am very happy here and I hope everything works out for all of us. (optimist that I am) Rolling Eyes

Well, it's time to put in my two cents on this matter. Yeah, PP, the ultimate suck out machine, basically said c ya to the U.S. Players and don't let the door hit you in the %$$. I was trying to be the voice of the reason but some players thought no way the lobbyists would do something on getting an exemption. Those players were being doom and gloom on the effort.

I'll say this. Give the lobbyists a chance to do something. If they get the job done, great. If not, then that will end the poker boom.

I am a Republican and I don't want anything hate for being a member of that party. I don't agree with everything they say, so you can say that I'm a moderate. I think the religionist right has done a lot of damage to the principles and the views of the party. Does that mean I will vote Democrat in November? Not in all circumstances.

The big reason why this issue was brought up was that some Cousin Joe in this world could not learn how to stop and his family was trying to inject their sad story to the government in order for them to fulfill their crusade. Just because your cousin has a problem does not mean everyone has a problem. If you set limits, then everytime you are a winner.

That is my opinion. If Party Poker comes back, they lost me forgood. Hopefully, Full Tilt will welcome me when I get my first deposit in the account.

I agree with the last sentence of you post...

I too will not be going back to PP if this all blows over. I will give FT my rake from now on, and maybe UB too.

I logged in for the hell of it the other day. They usually show how many players are currently playing. They were not displaying that number anymore if that's any indication.
