2 examples of slowplaying gone wrong.
I don't know if there's any lesson to be learned here. Both players had very good hands, short-handed.

| yea, slowplaying is a no-no unless you flop something that can beat a flush/straight draw that hits... (full boat, nut flush, etc)... |

| Or if there's no real draw out there - for example, you have KK, flop comes K62 rainbow and you raised preflop. Yes, they MAY have a backdoor straight draw, but come on! |

I don't mind slowplaying. The hands I posted were short-handed, and heads-up. You want your big hands to get you some chips, and with fewer people in the pot, the smaller the chance someone draws that miracle card.
But boy, those were nasty. |

| Indeed those are strategic decisions both could work out. Ive won two MTT's so far, one with a lot of sandbagging (check-raising) and one with really tight play. I prefer the last lately tho, I wont slowplay unless the flop is dry or I hit nutflush or more |
