|
|
I just bought Harrington on Hold'em Volume 1: Strategic Play.
It seems I remember there was just one book, Harrington on Hold'em, now there are Volumes II and III.
Question is this: Is Volume I just the original Harrington on Hold'em? and when V II and III came out did it become V I?
Thanks. |

Well the trilogy obsession all started with Star Wars, so I blame George Lucas, but the three books all cover different aspects of tournament play.
Volume I covers early tournament tactics and general strategies
Volume II is focused on endgame strategy, with a lot of useful stuff on M & Q.
Volume III is a workbook with lots of examples to work through, and see how you would play hands. There's a lot on post flop play as well.
You should definitely read the 2nd one if you've read the first, and I think the third is quite useful as well, but not everyone agrees. |

Thanks...
It doesn't really answer my question, but I appreciate the reply. |

| no, volume 1 is not the original. He planned all three from the beginning. Also, you question is a little hard to understand, because you used V for volume, but V is a roman numeral for five, and you were already using II and III to mean two and three, so I had to read it about 5 times before I understood what you were trying to ask. |

Thank you Strasse.
You can see that I spend alot of time at another board (non poker) where they abbreviate everything... |
