I'm pretty sure I'm going through a very rough run of variance right now, and have a graph of my finishes over roughly 100 sitngos. I'm trying to figure what a normal/average spread of finishes is for a winning player over a real period say 1000 games but anything over 500 is fine. If anyone has anything on this let me know.

Hey Donkey. 100 SNGs is not enough to be statistically significant. You need about 300 at a given level. Focus on achieving an ITM number greater than 40% and an ROI between 20-30% before moving up.

If you are playing "perfect poker" which most people are not, you will have variance that could cause you to go OTM in as many as 10-15 SNGs. This is not likely, but it is possible.

Good luck.

You need at least 1000 to be semi-accurate, definately not 300.

No body on here has any numbers you're looking for except me most likely.

ROI 21.0%
ITM 45.5%

1st 14.2% 90
2nd 15.3% 97
3rd 16.0% 101
4th 14.5% 92
5th 14.8% 94
6th 12.2% 77

its hard to decipher too much from those numbers b/c I have no idea how you play but it seems like you could be a little more aggressive late and get that 1st % a little higher. Your itm % will drop but your roi% should definitely go up.
