Well, the republicans have been behind this bill from the start. They are the ones who added the language and that is all that matters. I am a registered republican, but have switched parties due to this and their partnership with the religious right who were also behind this.

If americans do get to where they cant play online, at least theyll be able to sit back and watch the canadians battle it out with the brits in some kind of intellectual vacuum...At least thatll be good for a few laughs.

Before you start berating people in a forum that you've only been a part of less than a month, it would help if you actually knew what you were talking about. You can't delete a post once someone has made a later post. He just edited his post to thank Grip for changing it, there is nothing wrong with that. Maybe you reside in the intellectual vacuum you allude to in your next post...

He "Edited" his post but he did so in the very SAME POST that needed editing! He made a comment in a post and a few lines down in the same post he said "EDIT" and took back what he had said earlier... he shoulda just canceled the entire reply so that people like me dont have to waste time reading it and then even more time complaining about it Smile

Anyways... htrain said:

Where exactly do you register to become a Republican? Oh, you mean to vote, nevermind...I love how this one little thing that hasnt even caused problems yet makes you now a "registered" Democrat. I love how you handle a 2 party system. Whatever you call yourself, democracy wont work with dumbass people like you voting... Democracy was established as a government for the people, by the people. This doesnt work if the people are f.uckin morons.

As far as the bill goes. Its a shame Bush cant veto out this part and keep the rest. Unfortunately that is the way our lawmaking process works. Some dumfuk puts a "slider" in the middle of a bill that gets passed and the president has to either veto the entire thing or accept the entire thing...

Ok let me say one thing and I while you read I want you to understand that I love online and live poker (and can probably whoop your ass at both Smile)...

Alot of posts talk about how the government is only interested in the money...

Youre goddamn right they are. But think about it. $4 million per day to partypoker alone is a big chunk of change -- a chunk being discarded from Americas economy and put into that of some overseas sh.it country (lol). Minus the owners and all the other American snakes involved, America as a country is negatively affected by online poker. However, in exchange for a weakened economy millions of Americans get hours and hours of fun (and bad beats) Smile ...

I think that there should be both: hours of fun and a strengthened economy. I propose regulation rather than banishment.

peace out niggas

It's people like you that make other countries hate Americans. Who cares if the sites are in other countries. I guess you drive a chevy pickup and live in a trailer. I guess you don't buy Nike's, only American made shoes. People like you are hypocrites.

all bush does is use 911 as a mealticket for his big money friends' companies and his church going horserace betting buddys, bush probably wants us to be able to also bet on his death count in iraq, im sure he laughs about that all the time, if we could get cheney to aim at our soldiers he could probably hit some terrorists, they all are so dirty it makes me sick and if cheney, bush frist and any of them other punks want to call poker gambling I invite them to a match, didnt think so haliburton hasnt sponsored poker in awhile they only sponsor war.

hey fully loaded ak i am very old and am ashamed to say i never voted before, but the republicans are the party that used to stand up for our personal freedoms, such as ur AK, but I feel threatened now, do u want to have to go to church every Sunday or be put in Jail, ?? that is where this is headed, Bush and his big business backed church would very much like to imprison u for not attending mass so when u see an erosion of ur private life u better stand up for ur self, Im voting first time this year and its against every republican on the ticket >>>..........

I would like to say I respect the political views of a bunch of people on a poker forum. But I just cant. Vote for whoever you want, I dont care. My post mentioned the economy being weakened by online poker. Just wait until the democrats get in office and the economy will be in the toilet. And I know what you may be thinking: Clinton made our economy strong! Yeah right. Clinton took over after president Bush Sr. who left office leaving our economy on the rise... When he (clinton the pimp) left office the economy was headed down and Bush Jr. showed up to take the blame. How do you ruin an economy in just 3 months of office? The press started talking about the bad economy when Bush first got elected; he had had no chance to improve or hurt the economy by that time but suddenly it was his fault. Look at it now.

I gotta hand it to Clinton though: how can you not like that guy. Gettin his wee-wee sucked in the Oval Office. I mean - fuc.k adultery. Its not immoral if your wife is Hillary. You dont have to be faithful to that ugly who.re lol.

No but Clinton is a smooth talker and a Ive heard he is a nice guy. Ive heard the same thing about Bush. Except the smooth talker thing lol, but trust me folks, hes no fool. (But he sure comes across as one sometimes lol)

Now, contrary to what you might think, Im no huge George Bush fan: God no. However, I personally think that even if the Republicans arent my favorite they are still light years ahead of the democrats. I base this on things that would require too much typing. The whole problem with a 2 party system is that eventually you find yourself stuck with 2 trash candidates (or from Southpark: a Douche and a Turd Sandwich lol). George Washington said that a 2 party system would destroy America. So far it doesnt seem that way but he based that on logic I can agree with, and we'll see.

Anyways, I highly doubt that George W. Bush cares if you play online poker. I dont think that he talked somebody into sneaking these paragraphs into important legislation. Hes got too much to worry about already. And listening to that democratic bi.tch on CNN yap about how the Republicans did this prior to election date in order to boost poles!?! WHAT? Ive never met someone who didnt like poker, even the rightest winged birds... In other words, I dont see how this would help raise votes. Maybe its the whole weakened economy thing? Or maybe she was talking more democratic bullsh.it...

By the way: after actually reading the bill for myself, I see that online poker will probably not be affected by it. Try reading it yourself. In fact, read the whole goddamn thing and edumacate yourself a little bit...

I wanted to comment on a couple of posts written by people who could no longer play on TitanPoker. I have some advice for you. F.uck TitanPoker: take your money and run if you can. My buddy won several hundred bucks there off of the minimum buyin. Hes not a high roller like me Smile. He went to collect and they showed him a Zero balance. He wrote them a letter and emails and was very angry. They never payed him. This was before the Port Security Crisis lol.

Yo TableGod, the AK in my name is both the gun, but seeing as this is a poker game, it also stands for Ace King. Clever, huh?

PS.

If you are going to vote for Hillary, come play with me on the tables, cause I know I can beat you for as many chips as youll allow me to take...If you do chat to me, dont get offended if I dont chat back as I am barred from chat for abusing the censorship policy. F.uck man that was fuc.kin dumb of me...

peace niggas

the only reason i dont vote is so i cant be blamed for putting a guy in office who will bring about the end of the world or something. and dont bash me for not voting. its a choice to vote not a law(for those of you who get upset when people dont exercise thier right to vote).
