The President still has to sign it to become law, and he probaly will soon because it is a "Port Security Bill".... and the midterm elections are around the corner.
As far as everything else, I guess we'll have to wait and see... |

| This will cost the republicans a lot of votes. They will lose in november and in 2008. Short online casino stocks. Go long offline casino stocks. Only played live once and won. Easily. |

Amazing.
With so many problems that really need to be addressed, some jerk is SO concerning with regulating what adults do with their own hard earned money.
If there's one thing I can't tolerate, it's intolerance. |

I agree.
This accomplishes nothing and just makes it easier for the offshore online poker sites to rip off US players.
I can still text deal or no deal for 99 cents to maybe win 100,000 but can't play a holdem tourney.
It just makes the govt seem like they are insane. |

I'm Canadian but I don't understand how they can just lump bills together that have nothing in common with each other in an attempt to end the session earlier.
Obviously no one is going to object to this because 1. The quicker they pass it the quicker they go on vacation and start campaigning and 2. If someone nahs a port security of DOD bill they're going to look like a terrorist supporter to the public. |

that's because the USA Goverment System is MADE for Corruption.
From what I understand ours is not that much better, but since it is more liberal they don't care about us having fun. |

| It's days like today that I am sorry I am an American. This country is so sad, how did we get so far off track from the ideas this country was found upon? |

| Don't get me wrong, I think the leadership does reflect the majority view of America. It just sickens me that this is what america became. |

| You are not alone friend...It's almost comical at times reading about certain laws and censorship we have that make no sense whatsoever.... but hey, lets approve another 500 million for a war that shouldnt be going on.... sounds like a great idea |

| You know, there are still states where blow jobs are illegal. It's never enforced, but technically they are. |
