I've been playing poker online for nearly two years now and have always specialised in NLHE. Recently however i've found myself becoming more interested in the other forms of the game especially Omaha.
I'm not willing to rush headlong into the game before I have a fairly good idea of what i'm doing so i've been playing in cheap HORSE tournaments just to get a feel for the game. I think i'm nearly at the stage where I might graduate to a micro limit ring game.
What I want to know is are there any good books on any of the different versions of Omaha available? I've already got Super System 2.
I've spent many an hour looking on Amazon and other such places and can't seem to find anything with good reviews or feedback. Everything is Hold-Em.
As the title states any help much be much appreciated. Point me in the direction of an informative read and a lifetime of good karma shall be your reward. |

| The only Omaha literature I've read other than SS2 was Championship Omaha Poker by T J Cloutier and Tom McEvoy. It covers Pot Limit Omaha, Limit Omaha, and Omaha Hi/Lo (if I remember correctly). I still like SS2's PLO section better though. |

Thank you for that kenobi. It would appear that worthwhile literature on Omaha is somewhat lacking so i'll just have to learn the old fashioned way.
However, I took part in my first ever Omaha tournament last night (an MTT with 227 entrants) and finished 4th so maybe i'm just naturally brilliant. |

That's probably some of the better online text covering the game and basic information that you'd find useful (like odds, typical raising hands, etc.) Combine that with the SS2 PLO section and that should give you a good start. |
