I'm not really sure on how to proceed. Do I give him credit for the flush and fold? Do I slow down and call him down to the river? Or do I stay aggressive and make them pay a price to draw? Thanks in advance. |

| really the only to ways I can see playing both hands is either give it up or check call to the river. |

| Well, for limit, i push hard (bet, raise, reraise if possible) on the flop. If another suit comes on the turn, i definitely slow down, check calling turn and river. If not, i proceed with caution still, maybe just check calling all the way. |

First thing...you need to have enough chips to play the hand...Starting a hand with less than 5 bucks in .50/1.00 is not smart...If you flop a huge hand you will not get paid off correctly. I have won a couple of pots that had over 30BB's in them at this level and you need to have the chips in play to make the raises when you have the nuts...
I think you played the hand good preflop and on the flop, I would have figured him for a 4 flush on the flop with the capped betting. When the 4th suited card came in a heads up pot, I would go into check call mode and see the river cheaply...In a multi way pot, I would let the hand go on the turn...Someone will, just about all the time, have you beat with a flush.
In the second hand, Three bet preflop with your AK...Kid Rock may not call two bets out of the big blind with his weak gapped connectors.
I would have probably went to the river on this one too, as cheaply as possible...You have to play sheriff once in a while... |

I was playing super aggressive and decided to cap preflop. When the flop hit and he reraised me I automatically put him on AK. I was also pushing him hard because of his short stack. Did I play this one right? How would you play it if the opponent had a full buy in? I'm not to sure on how I would go. I hit 2 pair on the turn, so that gave me additonal outs, but I knew I was still behind. I think, if he would of had a full buy in, I would have kept capping. |
