I'm at the final table of a home tounry and one of the short stacks, fo sho. I've been playing super tight and I'm on the big bind which is 16 bucks and I've got about 100 left. Everyone but one person limps in and I find an Ace-10 offsuit. I haven't really had a hand all night and decide to go all in. everyone folds but this drunk ass who has a 8-7 offsuit and he ends up beating me with trips-8. was this stupid?

You have 6 blinds, so you can't be wait any longer. All of the limps are just an added bonus because in your game I doubt anyone is limping and not raising w/ AJ. Move in quickly. He was stupid.

Or he had great pot odds to play a suited connector vs a shortstack with all those limps in there...

he wasn't suited... but this just sounds like poker to me... if you'd be happy if he called with that and at least doubled you up (maybe getting you back in it) I guess you can't fault him because he actually hit... he has paid the same amount of money as you to try to win the hand, ya know what I mean?

Just a bad beat that you can live knowing you had the best of it. I've had those many times
