A little background on this one. ProPlayer2005 has already gone all in 4 or 5 times with only the blinds on the table. Note that ProPlayer2005 had at least 900 chips at the time (not short stacked). 2 hands prior to this ProPlayer2005 went all in with AJo and was called by jimbotx69 who had AQo. ProPlayer2005 paired his jack and won.

What would you have done in the situation below if you were in my position?

FullTiltPoker Game #207115449: $5 + $0.50 Sit & Go (1309910), Table 1 - 25/50 - No Limit Hold'em - 16:21:33 ET - 2005/09/04

I'd have beat him into the pot.

Fold...I wouldn't of even raised AQ out of position at 25/50 either.

Really? This seems like a prime spot to double up. A good hand, vs a crazy, early on, and all 5 cards to come. I say if the best hand the crazy's gone all in with is AJ, wbtzn would be quite unlucky indeed if he wasn't better than 60/40 to win.

He has 1800 chips, you get paid off the same way 4 or 5 handed, no reason to risk it right now, but then again it's the $5.50s...

Different styles, then. I'd rather risk it here, with what I think is a big advantage than have to take the big crazy stack out by doubling up through him twice or more... or even worse, allow a legitimately good player (or even one who isn't trying to give them away) to get his chips, and be in a real tight spot, scraping and surviving to just make the money.

ProPlayer isn't the one all in...there is no read on the all in guy.

Details, details. Ignore me, Urban Meyer's right. (Though at the $5's, calling wouldn't be horrible either, if you feel like gambling, but it is probably a race, and might be worse for you.)

Well, at the 5s, it could be a profitable play, it's just definately -EV within a sng, but he could be a cf, he could be way behind or he could be way ahead. Read dependent.

Of course, I take the wrong option (why else would I have posted it?)!!! I liked the flop. Wish we could have stopped there. Laughing Here's the rest of the story...

wbtczn calls 1,535, and is all in
jimbotx69 shows [As Kh]
wbtczn shows [Qd Ah]
Uncalled bet of 1,115 returned to jimbotx69
*** FLOP *** [6d 3d Qc]
*** TURN *** [6d 3d Qc] [Kc]
*** RIVER *** [6d 3d Qc Kc] [Ks]
jimbotx69 shows three of a kind, Kings
wbtczn shows two pair, Kings and Queens
jimbotx69 wins the pot (3,795) with three of a kind, Kings

Even at the 5.50s there is less(however minute) that a chip leader would come over the top w/ AJ or A10.
