Read it all correctly:

****And to those of you trying to explain this situation, I know 7-2 is not much difference that 2 other, non straight cards and yadda yadda yadda. 7 2 off suit is universally considered the worst starting hand in Hold'em with AA being the best. Nothing is certain till the river, not implying this is impossible. Stop flattering yourself with quoting another websites and statistics and get a life. This is a bad beat message board and this is mine.

Oh, and him havint 7 2 off is no worse than if he had 9-2 off, or 9-3 off. It just seems worse because it's considered the worst hand. Against aces, any two non straight making cards that are below 10 (the straight doesn't require the ace) are equally likely to win. A set of 2s beats you just like a set of tens does.

no way, I disagree... Irish wins this one...

but, by definition, a beat is never really all that "bad" if at least one person is all-in preflop unless you're dominated. AKs vs. K4o for instance. Someone else has been over the definitions of "bad" beats already, so I won't rehash it... but most of these are actually just "beats" regardless of the odds, because you have to factor in game theory, etc. etc. more than just odds. I think preflop 27o beating AA is worse than AA beating AA... but since the 27o was the one that made the all-in move and it was preflop you take that into account and realize he just got lucky to outdraw and it sucks, but THAT'S POKER

...if you've NEVER made a move, been called, and then sucked out then I suppose you have a beef... "he who has not sucked out, shall cast the first stone" LOL

Good suggestion. How do I go about doing that? Do I start by telling other people to get a life, or would I do better by just thinking my bad beats are so much worse than everyone else's?

WOW Zuchox, you are so ORIGINAL! Can't you come up with something new? Especially since you have nothing to do with this anyway. Get a life by living your own, instead of nosing into others and being an ***. Also, I'm not the self-glorified attention whore you are, posting into everyone elses forum. I post my own, with the worst Preflop scenario possible.

since you seem salty, this isn't meant as a criticism or to garner attention in your thread...

but for the record, you'd almost want to go up against a smaller pocket pair than any 2 unpaired cards... simply because they CAN beat you with a single card (setting their pair) and force you to do the same or better, but there are only 2 cards in the deck to that and your pair has the same odds of setting as theirs do (all else constant)... having any 2 unpaired means that yes, it is less likely they will hit 2 cards (pair for set, or 2 pairs) with you not setting... but more likely (as shown here) that just even 1 of their 2 cards will be good enough for a straight or flush... I don't remember if your aces covered their flush possibilities or not... if they did than this sucks even more.

Not defending, not garnering attention, merely discussing possibilities on this open forum

Yeah, I bet you're the most popular guy in middle school. Sorry for butting in. And for what it's worth, losing with AA vs AA is MUCH less likely than losing to 72.

AA vs 72 isnt the worst.

The worst is 77 vs 72, or 99 vs 92, and so on.

This type of drawout isn't a bad beat. It happens all the time. In fact, it probably happens to somebody, somewhere, every minute of every day.

I stand by my 'one out or fewer' definition of a bad beat.
