Have any of you heard of the NS Poker School? It's an online backing school who tracks your play on a certain site by you entering a promo code upon registering at the site (PartyPoker is their site of preference). Then, if your results are good, they will back you, with you receiving 80% of profits.

How do you guys see this? Could this possibly be some sort of scam? Or do you think it's legit? Feedback appreciated (not stupid feedback).

Peace!

I have not looked into this at all. I did not google the site and check it out at all. I am just going to offer some things that seems to be logical assumptions. Maybe I will make an *** of you and me or maybe it will make sense.

I would assume their tracking system is clean. Its in their own bets interest if this is at all legitimate. Wouldn't want to sour a business relationship with underhanded tactics right from the get go.

I woud assume that when they claim to stake you what they are really saying is they will LEND you the money and become a 20% partner in any profits you make from this money. Should you loose the money, I bet you are accountable to pay it back, likely with interest and/or service charges.

I would assume there is some type of term involved where your acceptance of the money obligates you to a relationship with them for a pre-determined period of time. Otherwise good players would use the service to get stared, make some profit and be able to pay for themselves instead of sharing 2o% of their winning.

These are just the thoughts that came to my head.

peace,

Makes sense. All I've done is emailed them about it. I never agreed to do it yet. I wanted to see what others thought.
