for omaha i dont really have a favorite hand but the obvious one i would like to hold preflop is a.a.k,q double sooted.

in regards to moves that depends on the limits you are playing in micro limits i wont raise it up preflop too much as you will usually get around 4-6 callers, i like to limp in with a lot of hands and see what flops. ive seen some great looking preflop hands die on flop too many times.

higher stakes i would raise preflop with good hands because there usualy isn't as many ppl to take on at the flop

Actually, both AAKKds and AAJTds are better hands than AAKQds.

The JT works better than KQ because the JT will be used to make far more straights than KQ. That makes up for the fact that it's JT. It's only a better hand by a couple of percentage points, but it is better.

Oh ****, I'm a dumbass. I was thinking if the J or 10 paired up I would be behind, then I could overtake them with a Q or K. I took some time to reflect, and now I realized I **** up. Sorry. I've only played omaha about 2 months now.

i've just started playing omaha too but whenever i try to find out what kind of hands to play, i get a webpage telling me the "top ten" or similar...

AATJds doesn't come round that often so what kind of hands do good players play when they're waiting for those premium hands?

you know, kind of middle hands that still have a positive EV

edit: i play low stakes- i guess theres a lot of difference compared to playing against good players

Here's more stuff that's playable, preferably from later positions:

Suited Ace with 3 connecting cards *As6s78*
Most rundowns (5678, 6789, 789T, etc.)
One gappers where the gap is in the middle or low end of your rundown (78TJ, QJT8. Not something like J987)
High Pair + Rundown (JJT9, TT98)

Being double suited always helps with these types of hands, however it's not because you want to hit the flush (save the suited Ace hands.) It's because you want some extra protection from that flush being hit against you should you make your hand. Really you just want to play hands where all 4 of your cards are going to work well together if you can. It makes playing postflop much easier because you will most likely have a very good reason to be in the hand, or a very good reason to get the hell out of there after the flop.

yeah suited ace-x and connectors have been very proffitable, especially double suited. but as i mentioned in another post, A-Q suited with 10s or 8s has been very good to me for some reason.

i also like having high and middle/low connectors, like A-K-9-8 or K-Q-6-5.

I actually had A-A-K-Q double suited recently and couldn't get paid off, even though I made quad Aces on the river.

Yeah, it's a good hand, but you have to remember that with all of these premium high cards in your hand, it's quite likely that if the board hits your hand good, nobody else is going to have a hand they're willing to go to war with.
