I plan to try some cheap $1, $5, or $10 sit & go games on the internet. Can anyone recommend some good books for cheap internet s&gs and tournament holdem?
Which would be the best sites for a beginer to start playing at?

HOH has the best concepts for SNGs. Both of them.

I am half way through reading "Winning Low Limit Hold'em" by Lee Jones-1994. I have Hold'em Poker by David Sklansky-1976 and The Body Language of Poker by Mike Caro-1994. I never started the 2nd two. I'm not much of a reader and my retention isn't too good. So I don't know how I will get through all these books.

I just ordered the following books from overstock.com:

Internet Texas Holdem - Mathew Hilger
Killer Poker Hold'em Handbook - John Vorhaus
Doyle Brunson's Super System II
Getting Started In Hold'em - Ed Miller
Harrington on Hold 'em: Expert Strategy for No Limit Tournaments: Volume I
Harrington on Hold'em Expert Strategy for No limit Tournaments Vol II

Next I will be looking to order a computer program to help me learn and improve. I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks for all the help. I need it.

All excellent choices. Lee Jones was my first book and it is the perfect first book on limit holdem in my view - then its time for Hilger
