Well, folks, I made it. I've finally moved up to playing the $11 SNGs. Yay! Tonight I played 3 of them, and was in the money all three times (2nd the first two, won the third!). I know variance will kick in, but right now I'm on top of the world!

Congrats!!! I can't wait to move up to the 11's. I'm about $80 away from my bankroll being ready. But I've been consistently making money at the 5.50 level and I hope to move up by the end of September or sooner.

See ya soon!!!

SNGs own, until you are on the worst variance run of your career like me. Yay! Laughing

Damn. My run ended - I got two seconds, then two firsts, then out in 9th on a bad beat Sad. Oh well. Still aiming for that elusive 4 wins in a row - I can't seem to break my record of three. Grr.

You probably shouldn't have been playing the 50s if you had to move back down that quick. You need more than 4 buy-ins...

lol. Well, I've got my next goal, now. The 4 in a row, of course, and getting my br up to 500 so I can do the 22s. I'll get there in a few months, hopefully.

Currently multi-tabling the 10 + 1 SNGs...

Damn - its just not as cool as Urban's 30s. *sigh*

It's ok, it's the climb that makes the peak seem so much better. Laughing

4 in a row is tough no matter, I've gone 3 of 4, but the 4th is always elusive.

I just had 1st, 1st & 2 ITM, but couldn't pull through for the slam.

An update, for those of you who care (probably not many, but too bad Smile ). Since I moved up to the 11s, I've played 14 SNGs (a tiny sample, but that's not the point). I have won 3, gotten second in 6 times, and been OOTM in 5. Not too bad, I think!
I'm off to go try to figure out that spreadsheet I got. Wish me continued good luck!

Still waiting for variance...

Don't ever wait for variance, it comes all too often.

No Kidding!!!
For the last 8 days I have been in the money in all my SNGs (5.50). Then today WHAM...lost 3 in a row with premium pocket pair getting sucked out on the river by trips.

Guess its my turn Urban, hope your "suck-out" streak is over.

Hah! 3 in a row is nothing. Try losing 7 - see what that does to your ego!

My limit is 3 per day. After that I crawl in a hole and cry.
