| twice I've come close but no cigar in these Razz freerolls....what do I need to do to get into the cashing...it's not much but it sucks finished 19th and then 37th....I always find myself middle of the pack then sliding back...then I jump back to the middle of the pack and slid back...until finally I bust near the end..... |

Play your hands straight up early on. There are so many bad players in the beginning that bluffing has no point. Also, just playing your up cards when you have BS down, will not pay off in the early stages. If you are card dead, then you're card dead. Nothing you can do about it in the early stages unless you think the people at your table will actually fold to scary up cards.
Funny thing though I once had a wheel on 5th street. Then a J comes for me on 6th. The other guy in the hand starts raising me and types "LOL You have a jack." After I made my final raise I said it's my 6th card. I'll just play my first five. He still capped it on 7th. I had paired my down 5 on 7th so it was obvious that I had the wheel the whole way. |

| I actually won this razz freeroll a few weeks ago, and bigslick hit it on the head. All you can do is play your cards early on. When the limits are massive you have to steal a few pots to stay alive if your only around the average stack. If you are a larger one, u can push people all in or push them out which will happen. The rest is all up to luck, i was last going into the final table and i got lucky a few times and won. oh and only play starting hands that are below 8. and u gotta be able to fold wen u know ur beat. every chip u save is crucial. |
