I just played in and won the $20 Razz MTT tourney at 9:30am and my complaint centers around the blinds and antes which move way to fast. At one point 3 handed the blinds were 1500/3000 and the game ended with blinds of 2k/4k. This is just not right when only 40,500 chips in play and people having spent 3 hours playing. I have noticed this in the past with other fixed tournies I have played in and won such as those MTT stud events. While tournaments are luck the blinds and ante system on fulltilt amplifies this idea. The worst offender of this is not a MTT, but the HORSE sit n gos where you are playing 500/1000 or higher with only 12,000 chips in play. I think fulltilt needs to strongly look at the blinds and antes system in their fixed tournaments and maybe make the length of each round longer. Thank you.

That's very common for limit tourneys. People don't bust as fast, so they take longer and the blinds get ridiculous. FTP's blind structure is actually very good. I've played a few sites where the blinds double. Now that's ridiculous.

My suggestion would be when you reach say 500/1000 then the levels should take longer. Maybe 10 minutes instead of 5 minutes. I realize that not all tournaments have as few people as a $20 razz and for the fixed tournaments with many people, they need to end at some point, but I think extending the length of a level is reasonable.
