|
|
We are taking a look at the entire tournament schedule, so let's get all the suggestions into one thread.
The most common I've seen so far:
-More lower buy-in tournaments late at night
-More omaha tournaments, especially PLO
-More limit hold'em tournaments |

how about just more tournaments in general, I don't understand why there is only 1 tourney every half-hour or hour sometimes...
I'd think you'd want to earn even more from the fee and I KNOW we want to play in more events.
I'd also prefer to have more mixed games, and not always NLHE, but I also know some MG tourneys I've signed up for haven't even met the min criteria of 9 entrants so oh well. |

Obviously, NL is your bread and butter...how bout some different buy in amounts on the 15 and 45 each hour.
Funny thing for me is one of your biggest successes, the 8pm and 10pm EST guarantee tourneys are getting so big that it may start to be a turn off. One of the reasons I love Full Tilt is that it doesn't take 6-7 hours to complete a tourney. As these big nightly tourneys grow (and they are growing exponentially), I will probably have to stop playing as I don't want to finish at 3am CST or later.
More limit tourneys would be great...but I understand that there isn't really a player base to support it right now...maybe start with $10 tourneys.
Other than that, whatever you do...do not change your structure. It is the best in the industry.

I think its great that you're offering satellite SNGs that you can buy in for with FTPs now. That's really conveniant for a lot of people. Of course, I'm saving up my ftps right now...
But the point stands. |

I posted my feeling on this subject on ftpfan.com today. I feel more 5$ and 10$ nl tournies should be sched. throughout the day. ( let say every 30 min.) and especially during peak hours. Just look at partypoker and pokerrooms sched. They are definately giving the people what they want. Thats probably why they have a much higher player volume.
I love this poker room. So please give us want we want............ |

| I don't think FT has enough people to fill up 5 or 10 dollar tournies every 30 min. However, having one every hour or two would be nice. |

| No extra freerolls....sorry jim but freerolls fill up an hour early, and have some of the worst poker known to man. How about more 5 and 10 dollar tournaments going off. And maybe consistantly start tournaments on the 30s, and maybe once we get to that, consider :15 and :45 as the site grows. |

better FTpoint tournies. Make them two rounds like some other sites do. And dont just have them for holdem have them for other games esp stud and stud8. Introducing these games for free may spike some intrest for money games.
Would also like more 5 and 10 dollar Stud8 MTT. Id think youd have atleast 4 of those a day. |

How about $10 or $20 MTT's , at least 1 or 2 per day, that give $200+16 tokens, Winners choice to use in the event they choose. |

I really, really dislike the razz tournament schedule. I'm in the central timezone, have a day job (so no mornings, which is no big deal), and get home around 7pm est. The weekend is fine, but during the week...
Monday: 10am, 11pm - I can play the 11pm, but it's only a $5, so really isn't worth staying up that late even if I'm doing well.
Tuesday: 9am, 6pm - The evening one starts too early for me to make it. It's a bad time for an evening MTT when it's the only one of the day IMO, because anyone working during the day who isn't on EST is probably going to have a hard time getting in this one.
Wednesday: 7am only - why no evening one? Actually, I wish Triple H's tourney was on this day, so it doesn't overlap Friday night's.
Thursday: 5pm, 8:30pm. The $1 MTT is at an ideal time, so even though it's low stakes, I do like where it is, hopefully encouraging more people to give Razz a try.
Friday: 3am, 7pm - The 7pm is okay, other than it being Friday night.
7-10pm is an ideal time for me, but only two MTTs are scheduled during that time.
Other than that, I'd also agree with the common suggestions to have more limit hold'em and PLO.
Also, even though FTP.com has a tournament ranking, it would be nice for you guys to have your own system that everyone can see and knows about. It might help to draw people to the less-played games if they see they have a chance to be on a leaderboard. |

| Definitely more low buy-in MTTs, $5 and $10, in the early evening when people are home from work, but not ready to go to bed. I can't start a tourney at 5 because I'm not home yet, and I can't start one at 10, because if I do well, I'll be dead at work the next day. 7-9 pm EST are the best start times for me, and I'd play a $5 starting in that period at least three nights a week (as long as I'm still single, anyway). |

| OK, As far as i'm concerned its settled. No one cares about limit or omaha. We want more 5 and 10 dollar NL tournies, especially in the evening hours. So TILTERDOUG how soon can we see these changes? |
