Discuss the $39 bet on the turn.
The thing is, if the bettor knows beyond any doubt that I'm holding the Ace of diamonds, it's a great bet, because it almost certainly won't be called and he'll get to freeroll me for the pot with 4 outs to a full house.
But if he's wrong, and I'm not holding the Ace of diamonds, it's incredibly risky, because if somebody does have the nut flush, they'll almost certainy reraise him all-in.
Thoughts? |

| I've played several times with the other two players, so I have some idea why the villian made the play he did. Feign probably isn't calling the bet on the flop with a flush draw, so that puts in down to you or Dyokem having the nut flushg draw. Your all-in bet pretty much announced you had either the straight or the nut flush, but the fact you are the short stack means you probably aren't calling PF with a hand that makes that straight, so it's most likely that you have the nut flush draw. Dyokem pretty much has the odds to call anything at this point and did. Definately a ballsy, but intelligent play by the villian. |
