Had about a 6hour session tonight. Started out OK. Doubled up on 1 table, had to rebuy from a suckout the other. Doubled up on that, the I almost hit a rush. Had two hands where I was in the lead all the way to the river. I owned that table. Max-betted each street and the pot was huge with 2 callers. I had the nut flush and one of my opponants had a smaller flush. For both it was check, call, check, call, then the damn board had to pair. The pot was $70 before the last card. Had it not paird, my last $35 was going in as well as my opponent who had a smaller flush. That would've been a hell of a pot. Had another that was pretty much the same situation, and for about the same amount of money. I knew I had to fold, but it hurt. To top it off, both of those bastards left as soon as the hand was over. I spent the rest of the time playing to break even. At least I did that.
I was hoping to do the "busto" experiment tonight. If not for those 2 beats, I'd be at the $2/$4 or $3/$6 tables right now making a killing.
Ah well, better luck tomorrow. |
