AJ isnt a hand I go all-in with after being re-raised. The best you can really hope for is to be in a coinflip. I dont like your going all-in after being raised, but since this is a freeroll, you were lucky the guy only had AT. Bad beat afterwards however.

i understand that AJ isnt that great of a hand, but the guy reraises and calls me with AT, im pretty sure that was a worse play on his part, im not here to get my hand critiqued, im here to vent, and figure out y im losing to the 3 outer everytime all my chips r in the pot. ive played 4 sng's today, and the same thing has happened in everyone of them.

Both re-raises were bad IMO. The first raise with AJ in middle position was solid. The re-raise w/ AT is very questionable. To reraise OOP I would need AK or QQ+ probably. Then a re-re-raise with the AJ, even though you were ahead was not good either. How did you know you were ahead? A reraise usually means many of the hands that have you dominated. AK/AQ/KK/QQ and you are no better than 30%. AA and I think you are less than 10%. Most people won't make that move with hands that you have dominated like AT or lower/KJ/QJ. Even KQ where you are a slight favorite doesn't usually make this move.

It's the low limit...wait actually I get the same beats at the $22 table. Just have to deal with donks, they are everywhere. Avoid all-ins pre-flop at all time because they will call...with anything.

i definatley agree with the not going all in after re raised with an ace jack even suited possibly call the reraise POSSIBLY but seriously it was not that terrible of a beat.

i really wish i had saved my quad kings on flop being beaten by runner
runner aces.
or my set of aces being beaten by a total no way should the person have
been calling pre flop bets or post flop bets

heres the fast sum up of both though.

PP aces 5$ to see flop
all fold but one guy he calls. flop rainbow and gapped massive
no straight no flush but i hit an ace bang all in due to the rainbow and gaps (40$ is the all in) got called so ok im assuming hes got that last ace.
HELL NO a 23 suited and one of his suits on flop Neutral but sure enough
runner runner his suit 45$ set aces beaten to a 3 high flush that should have NEVER been in.

Ok now for quads.
PP kings 8$ for flop
called by only one flopped quad kings and feel not like slow playing
rather just push it in all in 80$ called ??SAY WHAT smiles
PP aces pop up im like giggling cause i know runner runner aces aint there right ???
hell no there they go turn river aces 88$ lost on quad kings.

so basicaly sorry i dont feel bad about ace jack and ace ten going at it
and ace jack being beaten. Razz Embarassed

This isn't even a bad beat. The 7's had the lead when the betting finished. You took the lead in the race, but in the end the PP hit the set. It's just one of the many ways for a PP to win a race.

yeah that one there you was all in again on a weak ace and the PP had the lead
then you got a flop then the leading hand got justice and caught the finish line.

ive beaten out ace king suited so many times with a PP 2 its almost insanly funny.

granted ace king suited is fierce hand against 2's but o well thats the "races"

A,8 vs 77 not a bad beat

A,K vs 9,J not a bad beat

The AJ vs AT you were lucky to be ahead, the AA vs K7, he was the extremely short stack and had a K. That's an easy all in call. He just happened to get lucky. When you have 3 BB left it's pretty much any A or K and it's time to gamble.

I've seen many worse bad beats and these ones w/ exception of the AA K7 were nothing.

How about having AK and flopping an A. Push All in because short stacked and KK calls. Hits the CASE K on the turn. A one card out. Or the Running AA to make quads. Much worse has happened.

Sorry if I'm being harsh but I just got busted after flopping the stonecold nuts to a runner runner full house, after 3 hours of play.

And why don't you **** off. This is the "Bad Beats and Poker Frustrations" forum. People come here to vent. I just vented in another thread. It's very cathartic. Much like telling you to **** off.
