I know that if you pair your up card on 4th street you can check or bet either the low limit or the high limit.
I've heard that you always bet the high limit. Is there any situation where you don't bet the high limit? |

| Maybe if your showing pair is dueces, the other dueces have been folded, and you suspect another opponent to have a higher pair, and you will fold to a bet. Something like that. |

| When pairing the door card makes you high trips and you're wanting to have people stick around to build a pot. |

well, it depends. if you just made aces up or even trips, i don't bet the higher limit. in this situation, i want 2 or 3 others heading into 5th street with me, so i just bet the low limit in order to build the pot. now, if i noticed that an opponent or two were likely drawing, i would of course bet the higher limit to force them to pay for that draw. |
