Oh, so THAT's the strategy I need to employ to be a winning player. 1) Piss people off by raising with Q 7 offsuit. Why this upsets other players I'm not sure yet, but damn was I misguided. I always wanted my opponents to raise with these hands for some reason. Then, after I piss people off, I will flop gutshot straight draws with 2 over cards. Duh, autocall! Then I'll turn top pair, 7 kicker, which is also known as the NUTS.

G2G guys, I'm off to implement my new strategy.

But before I go, since you were so kind in teaching me how to play poker, I have some advice for you as well. I don't think you'll find much luck and/or support if you rip into one of the forum regulars, FYI.

There is no reason to flame like this. Just a word of advise....

True, it's only $.45, but it's the pot. Calling pot-sized bets on a gutshot can't be good.

So this hand is a complete 100% determinant that doc sucks? You may have beat him in this hand, but doc is smart enough not to call pot-sized bets to hit gutshots, so....make of it what you will.

Also, I'm not sure what good can come of min. raising like that.

guys i think it was a great play. sorry dr that your hand got cracked. just gotta get em next time. btw dustin when are you gonna be on again? i'll look ya up and we can play at a table together. bring the big stack again so you can piss people off. its a good theory, and it usually works against me.

doc, that sucks you took that beat. And I've watched Dustin play, he's definitely a play chip style player, aka: luckbox. He's playing with other people's money too, so he probably doesn't value it at all. My advice to him would be to stick to play money once he loses all his money this time around. He can complain about losing it all to a bad beat, but how many bad beats he put on people to build it up is probably higher in number.

Doc, hurry up and build your BR up, so you can pay for my mbj next week Smile

1.) You minraised. I knew you had garbage.
2.) Whether I'm out of position or not, I'm going to call that minraise and see if I can hit a flop. I did (top pair and a gutshot wheel draw [since the 6 would have helped you as well.]) and gave you very bad odds to call with a pot-sized bet.
3.) Getting lucky is beating my ***? lol. Here's a hint for you: "never draw to an inside straight"
4.) As was said already, stick to play money.

Slick: Sorry, but I'm out. After this donkey sucked out on me, I went into a $1 SnG and went AI w/AQ on the first hand to vent.
