What is it with these 6 max tables? I find it hard to find a full 9 game sometimes at the low limits cause everyone is playing the 6 max tables (remember we are talking limit here)
I dont' play the 6 max tables, so what is so great about them? Personally, i feel you are less likely to get paid off with great hands because there are less players. Plus you are posting blinds more often.
I watch a lot and see that it is obvioulsy a more aggressive game. Why do players enjoy these so much. Is more skill involved? |

| There's more action at these tables, that's why people like them. I wouldn't say that there's more skill involved in playing 6-max, you just need to play another way. If you're equally good at 6-max and full games however, I think you'll probably win more at the shorter tables, since you're going to be involved in more hands. |

| Very true there are more action at these tables. Just be careful who you sit with. If you are at 1/2 or above, there are also a lot of good players who are looking for the same thing you are, action. Be careful, but most of the players suck so you should be okay. |

I just sat at a $.25/$.50 6-max and had a run-in with the positive end of variance. Up twenty big bets in 5 minutes . I don't really like full 6-max tables though, I prefer playing 4 handed or less, preferably heads up. If you're an action junkie you should definitely try playing FL Hold 'em heads up, it can be quite a rush. I wish I'd be comfortable playing $.50/$1 though, because with the 2-5 blind structure I feel the need to fold some hands pre-flop, and that's no fun. |

| I've been making bank on 6max for a long, long time now. It has more hands per hour than 9 max, and if you are better than your opponents this is good for you. |
