Just curious as to what other sites people play. I have been pretty active on PokerStars for the past 2 years?

The first site I ever played was TruePoker, which sucks btw.

Then I downloaded a bunch of sites, and tried them out first playing for play chips. I must have downloaded 20-25. But then I uninstalled all of them, except UB and FTP.

But right now I only play FTP.

I play a lot of pokerstars simply because I prefer the 10 minute blind levels in SnGs as opposed to FTP's 6 minutes. The longer the games, the more skill matters over luck.

FTP has a good balance though, you make a lot less per hour with longer games. I have played at party & other party skins. There SNGs are more profitable per hour but I have more fun and have less variance with the FTP structure.

Since I don't really play SnG's as a career, I'm not terribly concerned with my hourly rate. In fact, I've never actually timed a game. I know pokertracker will allow me to do it, but I keep stats on an excell sheet I programed. It's just easier for me. That aside, I can see what you're saying if you're playing many many SnG's at a time

I like UB - they have a great points structure.

Just go ahead and fold AK on poker stars, save yourself the trouble.

I'm begining to like Bodog though. I saw where their sports book was taking bets on Phil Helmuth getting punched at WSOP.

Ain't that the truth. I flopped top 2 with it once, 2 hearts. So bet the pot and got one caller. The turn was a 7c, and I put the guy all in. He calls with K-7 and rivered a 7.

Gee, wish you'd told that to the guy who put my KK all in preflop tonight... he turned an A for a huge pot. Sad

I also play at Stars and PP. Love PP, man... it's made me seriously consider whether I can get away with never working another day in my life. Smile

What, Stars and PP? No, world of difference. I personally loathe PP's software and hate it players... but the also suck and keep my bankroll growing, so I play there anyway. (If it makes you money, don't knock it, right?) Stars players are generally a whole lot better (though they've got quite a few fish too), but I love their software and playing against better players keeps my game sharp.
