I have had quite a three week period. I have been playing LIVE $1-$2 No Limit, and have been getting run over.

I have sat at the table at three different casinos for likely a total of 50 hours, and have not won a single pot larger than $60.

I have Not hit a single flush, I have not hit a single straight, without chopping, and I have hit only one set. for a huge 10 dollar pot. I have hit top two pair three times and ran into the bottom set. (folded two of them).

I have lost AA 9 times. for my entire stack (rightfully, I was ahead each time the money went in.) I have won AA once. I raised UTG, and everyone folded.

I have folded KK and QQ PREFLOP 11 times combined. Each time I was RIGHT to fold.

I have only knowingly folded the best hand (JJ) ONE time, when the board read 9h 7h 3d 8d 3h ( folded on river, but I had best hand, casue he had 7 9. i rivered him)

I dont believe I am playing bad. I have only folded (preflop) 4 winning hands in that time (with what I saw on the board) they were....

9 5. Board came 999
610 Board came 666
Q4 board came A2356
QQ board came Q23

I believe I have excellent reading abilities at the table, and have easily averted at least triple my losses so far. I dont miss bets, and I definately do mix up my play, and always protect my hand with appropriate bets. i do not trap.

My Biggest losses have been
A) where opponent did not have flush draws at all-

AA agaisnt Q10. on a K 10 2 3 10 board.
AA against 77 on a 9 4 2 7 - board
KQ againt 55 on a KQ5 board.
AA agaisnt AQ (betting all the way) on a Q 4 9 10 Q board
Q7 (BB,unraised) against QQ on a Q 7 7 board.

and it goes on.

I only lost to one flush in any of the big hands, and I was pot commited before it hit. The problem is I have never actuallyu won a hand big enough, to not leave me pot commtied at the flop.

IE: Im sitting with a typical $150, after not hitting a few hands for 3 hours.

AA Raise to $15-$25 UTG, 3 callers. Bet $50 into pot. 1 caller. Turn push all in. get called.

Today I got AA twice, after not seeing them for 17 hours in a row, and lost them both.

Today I played 5 hands in 4 hours.

JJ Mid position - Raised to $15, misssed flop.

KK. came to me on button with 4 people calling a $10 Raise. Pumped it to $40, 2 callers. Flop came all spades, and bot players went all in before it came to me. One of them had a King high Flush, one had a Ace High Flush. Of course I folded.....

AA - Raised UTG to $15 (the table had been limping for an hour, and this was the largest raise in that time, and people had mentioned how tight I was) 5 Callers. Flop is Kd 4c 5c, push $80 into pot and get Called by KcJc and he hits his King.... (he only had 60)

K5 hearts, with about $18 left, and I hit a flush.

AA with about $30 left, push all in UTG and get 6 callers.

Funny thing? Everytime I raise, I almost always have good cards, and when i raise I always get the most callers. Even if I have just sat down.

I am sure I have some leaks in my game. I am sure they may be a pot or two I could take down, that I am not. the problem is taht even if I do take some other pots down, Im getting runover on my "money hands" anyways. So I am pretty sure I just need to ride this out, and play ABC.

How do you get through this kind of streak? Funny thing is, I came home the other night and put down $25 online, and in three hours won $300, playing the exact same way as LIVE. Problem is I enjoy the LIVE atmosphere, more than just grinding it out online.

Oh, and I have bubbled in 4 of the 5 60-100 player tourneys I ahve been in. Twice running into AA, and twice on the river....

How deep are the stacks? I'm not sure that it is a good thing if you are folding KK preflop unless the stack sizes are really deep. And if they are really deep, then you should probably be flatting against a 3 bet instead of 4 bet/folding so that you don't make your opponents fold out all worse hands. This is especially true with QQ. If you are facing a 3 bet pf, 4 bet folding can be really bad since you just fold out worse hands and have to fold to better hands when they shove. I just read that you have around $150 typically, so your stacks are no where near deep enough to be folding AA with out some sort of super physical tell that is 100% accurate (and I doubt that anyone has that confident of a tell).

Also, how do you know that folding these hands are right? Are they showing you their hands or are they telling you what they had? After reading that part of your post, it just looks like you are looking for monsters under your bed rather than playing for EV.

I'd suggest taking a break from the casino for a while and only play a little bit online. Take around a week off or whenever you feel refreshed. It looks like this could really be affecting your play. Also, post some hands on here if you have troubles and are second guessing yourself.

They are showing their hands, either by flashing me, or going to a showdown with another player. I am not looking for a moster at all. I call many mild riases with all sorts of connectors and sm pairs. Just no hits, no draws, and trust me, Im making calls when the math makes sense, if I think Im beat. (ie, calling a $80 bet on river, where the guy only has to be bluffing 1/4 times to be profitable.) I am definately not playing scared when I have some kind of a hand. But if I am really sure my QQ is beat, and they have rasied my $15 rasie to $45, I am not getting odds to set mine, when I only have another $125 ish behind. I know I am doing things worng in the smaller pot hands. But I am pretty sure I am making good decsions on all my big losses. Just a tonne of rivers, and cold decks.

Here is one hand.

I have been at the table for about an hour. Saw a few flops, took a few small ones down. been Quiet. I have played with the Villian in the past, but not since my "streak" began. he is a solid player, with some tricks up his sleeve. he hasnt been too active, but plays his pots very aggressively. I bleive him to be a winning player. TAG

From Mid position, I raise to $15 with AhKd.(this is my first raise) (I have $250ish left.) I get a call from a VERY tight shortstack on Button, with $35 left, who has been waiting for his moment, and the SB Villian, who has about $350. He didn't take anytime to think of his call, just threw in his chips.

Flop. Ac 8c 6c

Villian Bets $50. (without looking for a club) ( I have not yet looked at flop when he makes Bet. So he has no read on my reaction to the flop.) Pretty common for me not to lok at flop till its my turn to act, in heads up, or near heads up situations)

After a careful consideration, as well as "mood" analysis. I fold.

Why?

-The shortstack's probable action is to call, and the Villian knows that,
-my image,
-and whether AK could beat a reasonable number of his likely holdings.
