| Is there any reason or situation you would want to complete instead of bring in? |

| I never complete when I have the bring in. The only exception is if I am in a tournament, very short stacked and plan on getting all my money in on that hand no matter what. |

| The only other time I would think of doing it is if I'm playing someone heads up, whether it's a tournament or a cash table. |

That is still a horrible situation to complete. You still want to be able to raise them for a full bet if they complete on you. Think about this. You are playing 2/4 stud HU, there is $.80 in the pot from antes, if you complete for $2 instead of bringing it in, you are betting 2.5 times the pot. It is such an overbet that its not profitable to bluff, and its such an overbet that if you have a hand, you are going to scare out most of the hands that would have payed you off. |

| HU is probably a worse situation than full ring. NEVER bring in for a completion! EVER!!! I guess you could as zeus said to get it in during a MTT short stacked. |

| In Razz if the table is tight and no one is showing anything too good I'll complete if I have to bring in. I have stole more than a few blinds and anties that way. |

| In RAZZ it is even worse. Anyone who hasn't paired on their first three cards knows they are ahead of you. |

| Looking at pebble's post, this is why FTP Razz continues to be SO soft and very easily beatable. Tearing up the Razz tables is easier than any other game IMO. |

I have completed with a bring in and a rolled up pair and still won blinds and anties. I dont have the stats to show but I would say more times than not thy all fold and Ill collect. |

| Apparently, I'm playing different Razz tables and tourneys than you guys. Completing a bring-in has no effect on donkeys staying in the hand most of the time around here. That's why I never complete my own bring-in. Whether I'm going to call if someone else completes it is something I know as soon as I see the deal. All three cards are eight and under or I ain't playing them anytime at a Razz table, bring in or no. I know some solid Razz players who refuse to enter a hand without an Ace and at least one other card that's 6 or under. Now that's tight. But Razz is a game built for rocks. |

iiznoodles antes 40
dumwaldo antes 40
KronX antes 40
*** 3RD STREET ***
Dealt to eyoraces [Qc]

Dealt to cubbies760 [Qd]

depends if I have a few call boxes at the table. If I have a few that I know will call with pretty much anything, I will complete w/ a strong hand.
also, when the ante's are big I will complete to steal |

| in my opinion it depends on position, whats cards are showing, knowing the people at the table and chip stacks, if its passed around to you and maybe 3 people left to go and you are low card in razz and you want callers limp in, you wanna try to force someone out who is showing an 8 or 9 or something fill the bring in, that way you have them set up for the next street if you get another good card and still lead at that point and can bet out again and possibly get them to fold. it is a situational answer you are looking for imo. what works for one hand may not work the same every time either. |
