|
Scenario among 3 players (A,B,C)
At conclusion of hand...
A is all in...
B & C are involved in a side pot...
A has the best high hand and no qualifying low hand...
B has second best high hand and no qualifying low hand
C has third best high hand and a qualifying low hand...
I understand that A & C will split the main pot...
My question is... How does the side pot get handled??
Do B&C split the side pot, or does C take the entire side pot (since B's high hand was not the highest hand at the table)?
Thanks!! |

B and C split the side pot.
The side pot only has B and C in it. So the best hand out of them gets the high and best low gets half.
Then the main pot is A B and C so all 3 compete for the best high and low.
An all in player has no effect on the side pot what so ever. |

Thanks.... That's what I thought...
But I had a VERY knowledgeable poker player tell me that if B didn't have the high hand at the table, his hand was washed and that the side pot was still about who had the high hand at the table...
That didn't sound right to me... But I wasn't sure...
Are you sure?? |
