Online Poker Forum - no one chats or even replies to comments

I was taught to be courteous to people. But at almost every table I've played on, no one says anything and no one replies to anything I say.

are these people engrossed in their hands or just don't like replying or just plain rude. I don't get it.

many don't pay that much attention to chat when they are playing multiple tables.

I generally find that people who talk to strangers are weak players.

i'd rather be known as a strong player so i'd rather keep quiet,unless friends are around ^^

a lot of people just don't want to be tilted by someone talking crap after winning a big pot. also a lot of people multitable and dont have much time for chatting.

I don't chat. But if someone chats then I'll always chat back with them. A lot of the time you'll be lucky to get a goodluck or something. That can start convo.

When 6 tables are open it's kinda hard. But with only 2 left and playing for the money. I'll chat allong.
