Are there any tricks for making your life easier when you're playing more tables than you can comfortably tile on your screen? Even with my small laptop screen I've never had this issue since I only played up to 6 tables at a time, but lately I've been switching up games to try something new and right now that something happens to be the super turbos.
If I become comfortable playing these games and want to move up to 8, 10, or 12 tables, what can I do to make my life easier? Should I start cascading them at that point? Are there any shortcuts you can set up for switching between windows smoothly? If so, do I want a hotkey script with shove/fold and maybe highlight bet amount for rare deeper stack play if players bust quickly? |

| yeah cascading works fine, especially for superturbos when you are mostly just glancing at stack sizes and position (and cards) and pushing or folding or occasionally calling. When I multi STs on my laptop that's what I do. |

How many tables are you playing? Have you ever had trouble with timing out, or does it work fine letting FT bring up the next table as you perform each action? I would imagine this gets crazy confusing when you're ITM or HU in a bunch with tables popping up constantly. Do you ever get overwhelmed keeping track of what's what? Hopefully I can work on my focus and play with less distractions when I up the table count.
I've been doing alright with 6 tables so far and even if I ever get notes you rarely bump into the same guy, so I'm thinking autopilot with more volume is gonna make more money. I'm pretty much playing a standard push/call range early, although I don't follow a 100% guideline and I tightened up the ranges a bit compared to guides I've seen since the players seem too loose. Still not sure if I'm playing the bubble right, but I guess I'll figure it out over time. |

I 9 table the super-turbo's reasonably comfortably. Sometimes one of the tables doesn't close properly and it throws things out of whack but usually this can be fixed pretty easily.
The multitude of useless pop-ups are really annoying when you start a game or get knocked out though.
When you get to 3 handed or HU with multiple tables it can get a bit frantic but hey - you gotta work for your $$ right??
I tried 12 tabling but found 9 tables was right for me
oh.. and I cascade. |

i just experimented with cascading. and ended up blindnig out of one because I was sitting out and didn't know it. On stars I have a AHK script set up where I can press a button and it brings up any tables needing actino, but I don't have one on Tilt so I don't know how to aounteract this inevitably happening.
fwiw, I typically tile. Can fit 12 on my laptop screen at minimum size, with some overlap. most people say it's overwhelming, but I think it's just fine. |

I tried cascading which worked great until I busted one and couldn't finish registering for a new one in time, so it froze the "bring to front" feature.
How big is your screen? Mine is 15" and I start to get minimal overlap with 6 tiled tables. However, I can play up to 12 while still having some part of each table clickable in case I want to manually switch between them, so unless I go past 12 tables I think I might just stick to tiles so I don't have the issues with cascading.
Btw, how are your $11 turbos going? |

mine's 15. 6 tiled gives no overlap, but they start shrinking obv.
and i pretty much stopped the 11 turbs for the time being. but as it stands, i have a -1% ROI at 11s, and a 17% at 6s. lol . |

Nice ROI at the $6s, how many tables were you playing? Were they easy enough to beat with solid early game strategy and good push-fold poker near the bubble? |

Very nice. I'm still confused how you only get minimal overlap with 12 tables on your 15". At 6 tables, mine won't shrink any more and the edges overlap a bit. Any more and the overlap starts to become more significant.
I think I'm going back to those as my default if I don't have much success at the STTs, although I'll probably drop to the 6s since I was having minimal success and huge swings at the 11s. You could make a nice part time job out of those games with your multitabling ROI. |

I think FTP is already the best site for multi-tabling. Still, I find a more simple mod to your table graphics can make multi-tabling easier. For me, I just make the background a flat colour (black for cash, gray for tourneys, brown for sngs), and the cards a bright colour that stands out against the background, so you can easily see how many people are in the hand.
This is what I have. It's wicked-easy to follow the action when playing 8 tables on 2 monitors, and works well with my PT3 hud. I f'd up the cards, but decided I liked them this way.

I totally never thought of that. One problem I sometimes have when playing too many tables is cbetting in position against a flop check only to realize I missed one guy still to act after me, so that's a huge help. How do you customize the table like that?
If you do that to the cards, can you see them when they're turned up so you can take notes on their calls and shoves?
