I find this happens to me alot...Im all in good 85%+ of the time just to get sucked out on about 60%+ of the time I find this happens online more than off but Its the amount of hands played!!! It just sux's when this happens!!!
This is more of a "IM PISSED RANT" than actual stats but any poker player can feel my pain |

I really do feel your pain.
The problem is with the $1.25's is that a lot of players don't have much of a clue how to play well and a lot of players just don't care as the stakes are so low.
Both of these sets of players will play weak hands, hands that you or I might find donk-ish. I've seen some truly shocking play at the $1.25's
All you can do is continue to play well, try and get it in good and let variance sort itself out.
When you are trying to figure out what your opponent might have, give them a wider range to allow for the donkishness. Player notes are very useful for this. Early on when you are mostly folding, watch the play and make brief notes on the players. Do they seem solid ? or poor ? Tight ? or loose ?..that kind of brief note.
As the play progresses you can build up your notes and when faced with a tight spot call on them to decide whether this person is likely to play weak hand and/or chase with crap.
Also, I know it can be hard if you have a small BR, but try to play the $2.25 sng's. You are paying less rake and the play is (marginally) better.
Dunno if any of this helps but I hope so. |

| regardless of whether or not you won this hand, you played it just fine. In the long run, you will be profitable playing like this. You can't let hands like this affect you negatively like this seems to have done. |

Pre-flop the villian play was bad but once the flop came, you were barely ahead. He had an over, flush draw and gutshot. That put you at about 53% to win.
When you got the rest of your chips in you were only 23% to win. |

| What could you have done? Well, there's a lot of things you could have done, but instead you made the right plays. Sometimes you're just not meant to win. |
